But here is my centipede *shrivers* still give me the heebie-jeebies. Simple but colorful despite having a healthy fear of the bug I really like the way it turned out. Though I am wondering if I might add some stuff to the background later on.
What made me decide to go rainbow I have no idea. Lol just sorta a last minute decision.
Here are a few of my favorite creepy crawly art that I found.
Anyways so nothing all that much going on here. I am trying to figure out some fun stuff to do in the greater Phoenix area for when Matt comes to visit in September. I have a few ideas so far but we will see.
I hope that you all are having a great week so far.

I don't like bugs in general. Lol! Your centipede is fabulous! Love all those tiny legs. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the cutsey ones. Lol I am glad that you like it. Was fun to draw. :)
DeleteWell, for someone who dislike centipedes you've created a surreal beauty, which I can only love. I'm fascinated by bugs, but I understand why some are so terrifying. I grew up in the country, and finding a centipede in your bed during a rainy night was not uncommon... it can be a scary thing.
ReplyDeleteEh I grew up in the desert. Joys of New Mexico so we often found vinegaroons in our tub, countless wolf spiders (which are actually great to have around just really big and scary looking), scorpions, ect... As long as they didn't get anywhere near me we were good. lol I have no idea what it has always been about centipedes. They are just... bleugh. I think its the way they move that freaks me out. If one ever got into my bed I would likely scream in terror freak out, get tangles in the sheet in my escape attempt and then fall off the bed. Haha
DeleteThank you I am really glad that you like it. =)

We would usually check the beds before going to sleep, and then set mosquito nets, which tend to keep more than one things out.
DeleteEeeek, scorpions. I have some pretty ugly memories of those buddies while training. They seemed to like the warmth of sleeping bags.
All those legs! How patient you must be to have drawn and colored in each one....and how brave you are for drawing the very thing that creeps you out....haha!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing :)
=D Thank you so much.

Eeeeewwwww! I do not like bugs but I cannot dispute these are beautiful pieces of art. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I thought a lot of them were super neat. All the little gadgets in the grasshopper, such detail. I am glad that you like them too.
DeleteI love your rainbow centipede!! :) And I like bugs including centipedes in general...but show me a bird and ugh! :)
ReplyDeleteI used to love birds when I was younger. My Mom I guess when I was a baby would take us up to Portal in the forest and set up my play pen. Then set me in it and spread popcorn around it and I would sit there real quiet and watch the Blue Jays fly down to take the popcorn. I am kind of scared of Birds now lol though I think they are beautiful.
Deleteuuuuaaaa all those legs..he turned out as a real beauty, but he don´t have to move, please!!!
ReplyDeleteNow if centipedes really came in rainbow stripes we would all want one lol...Fabulous imagery :D XXX
ReplyDeleteYour rainbow centipede is excellent! Great imagination!!!
ReplyDeleteas much as I love bugs, I'm with you on the centipede thing. I used to live in a really old house with a dirt-floor basement and huge long-legged centipedes would find their way into our apartment. I still shudder to think of it. I love your rainbow version and all the detail on the many many legs.
